Job Description:

Our client, a leading construction company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Supervisor to join their team in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all civil construction activities on assigned projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
– Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities, including earthworks, concrete works, and paving.
– Monitor project progress and ensure that work is completed according to schedule.
– Identify and resolve any issues or problems that may arise during construction.
– Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
– Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
– Review project plans and specifications to ensure that work is completed according to design requirements.
– Prepare reports on project progress, including detailed cost and schedule analysis.
– Participate in regular site meetings with the project team to discuss progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction, with a strong background in earthworks and concrete works.
– Previous experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar role.
– Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
– Strong leadership and communication skills.
– Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
– Valid driver’s license.
