Title: Residential Child Care Worker
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £18900 – £22500 per annum + benefits
A well-established children’s residential care provider is seeking a compassionate and skilled Residential Child Care Worker to join their team in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and care to children and young people in a residential setting, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
– Building positive relationships with the children and young people in your care
– Supporting children with day-to-day activities and routines
– Providing emotional support and guidance
– Assisting with educational activities and homework
– Maintaining accurate records and reports
– Liaising with other professionals and agencies as required
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
– NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
– A caring and compassionate nature
– Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings
