Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and highly organized individual to join our team as a Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of goods and materials for our organization, ensuring that we have a reliable and cost-effective supply chain in place.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiencies
– Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing
– Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure timely delivery of goods
– Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan purchasing activities
– Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
– Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
– Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software
– Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) designation is preferred
