Position: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Long Term Care

Our long-term care facility is currently seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide nursing care to residents and support the overall health and well-being of the individuals under your care. The RPN will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
– Providing nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures
– Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
– Assessing residents’ health needs and developing care plans
– Monitoring residents’ condition and reporting any changes to healthcare providers
– Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents
– Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care
– Ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents

Qualifications:
– Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) certification
– Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
– Prior experience working in a long-term care facility is an asset
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
– Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
