We are seeking experienced digital marketing professionals to join our team and help enhance our phone interactions and virtual meetings through platforms like Zoom. Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour

Job Description:

Phoenix Fire Systems is looking for an Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This will include answering and directing phone calls, managing office supplies, maintaining files, and assisting in daily office needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to multitask and prioritize work, and have strong attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar role and proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities:

– Answer and direct phone calls
– Organize and schedule appointments
– Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
– Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
– Develop and maintain a filing system
– Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
– Maintain contact lists
– Book travel arrangements
– Submit and reconcile expense reports
– Provide general support to visitors

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as an office assistant, receptionist, or in a similar role
– Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
– Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
