Title: Embedded Software Engineer

Location: Olympia, WA

Salary: $135000 per year

Description:
Our client is a leader in the healthcare industry, and they are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software for medical devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and release embedded software for various medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development, experience working in a regulated industry, and a passion for improving patient care through innovative technology.

Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for medical devices
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and develop software solutions
– Conduct testing and troubleshooting of embedded software
– Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
– Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the team
– Support the product lifecycle, from design to release and post-market support

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
– 5+ years of experience in embedded software development
– Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
– Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded systems design
