Title: Assistant General Manager

Our client, a well-known hotel in Whistler, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive revenue and enhance the guest experience.

Key responsibilities:
– Assist the General Manager in managing the overall operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
– Supervise staff, provide training and development opportunities, and ensure high levels of customer service
– Collaborate with department managers to implement operational policies and procedures
– Analyze financial reports and make recommendations to improve profitability
– Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with brand standards and safety regulations
– Assist with the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies

Qualifications:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry
– Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
– Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and guest service best practices
