Job Description:

Healthcare Support is currently looking for a Medical Assistant to join a reputable healthcare organization in Miami, Florida. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assisting healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments
– Taking patient medical history and vital signs
– Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations
– Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals
– Performing basic laboratory tests and sterilizing medical instruments
– Assisting with front office duties, including answering phones and scheduling appointments
– Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families

Requirements:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Completion of a Medical Assistant program or related certification
– Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting
– Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
– Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
