Job Description

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team in Hamilton. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the production process, managing a team of production workers, ensuring that quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers
– Monitor the production process and adjust schedules as needed
– Ensure that product quality meets company standards
– Train and mentor new production employees
– Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing company policies and procedures
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations
– Evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
– Implement and maintain production targets and KPIs

Qualifications:
– 3+ years of experience in a production supervisor role
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Knowledge of production processes and quality standards
– Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
– Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
– Proven track record of team management and development
– Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
