Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in a clinic setting, performing various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
– Greet and room patients, obtain medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information
– Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures
– Perform basic medical procedures such as EKGs, blood draws, and injections
– Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient electronic health records
– Schedule appointments, answer phones, and assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Completion of a Medical Assistant program and current certification
– Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
