Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Safety Officer to join our team. The individual in this role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all employees. The Safety Officer will conduct regular inspections, create safety reports, and develop strategies for improving safety standards.

Responsibilities:
– Implementing and maintaining safety programs
– Conducting regular inspections of work sites
– Creating safety reports and documenting findings
– Developing strategies for improving safety standards
– Monitoring and enforcing compliance with safety regulations
– Providing safety training to employees
– Investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes
– Recommending corrective actions to prevent future incidents

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
– Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation preferred
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role
– Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
