Job Description

Position: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Calgary, AB

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic business decisions. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, develop analytical solutions, and present findings to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
– Develop and maintain databases to store and extract data
– Interpret and communicate data findings to key stakeholders
– Collaborate with teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical requirements
– Implement analytical models and tools to streamline data analysis processes
– Create data visualizations and reports to present findings in a clear and concise manner
– Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
– 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or related role
– Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages
– Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and presentation abilities
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
