Title: Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Location: Mississauga, ON

Salary: $18.00 – $21.05 per hour

Job Description:

– Provide personal care to clients including assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and medication assistance
– Monitor and report changes in client’s health and wellbeing
– Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
– Provide companionship and support to clients
– Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for clients
– Adhere to all company policies and procedures
– Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients

Qualifications:

– Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent
– CPR and First Aid certification
– Experience working with seniors and individuals with disabilities
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset
– Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed
