Title: Kitchen Manager

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Our client, a busy restaurant in Toronto, is currently seeking a Kitchen Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the kitchen staff, ensuring the highest level of food quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
– Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and safety
– Develop and implement new menu items in collaboration with the Executive Chef
– Monitor and control food costs and inventory levels
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Collaborate with front of house staff to deliver excellent customer service

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
– Culinary certification or diploma is an asset
