Position: Data Entry Clerk
Location: Surrey, BC
Salary: $19 – $22 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering data into our systems accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
– Enter data into the system accurately and efficiently
– Maintain data entry requirements by following data program procedures
– Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
– Update and maintain databases with new information
– Prepare and sort documents for data entry
– Keep information confidential
– Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
– Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proven data entry work experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
– Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
