The company is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join their LTC Business & Project Development Department. The specialist will be responsible for setting up LP and economics models, third party Build Own Operation evaluation models, project financing, and interfacing with other departments.

Description:
Our client, a well-established organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to join their team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insight into financial trends to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage a team of finance professionals responsible for the preparation of financial statements and reports
– Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights to stakeholders
– Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
– Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
– Collaborate with internal partners to support strategic decision-making
– Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team

Qualifications:
– CPA designation
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting
– Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis
– Experience leading a team is an asset
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
