Field Service Engineer – Lab Automation

Our client is a global leader in laboratory automation equipment and is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site support and maintenance for laboratory automation systems.

Responsibilities:
– Install, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory automation systems at customer sites
– Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment
– Provide technical support and training to customers on system operation and maintenance
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
– Maintain detailed service records and documentation
– Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for system improvement

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biology, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in field service or technical support, preferably in the life sciences industry
– Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
– Knowledge of laboratory automation and robotics systems
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
