Title: Veterinary Assistant

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $17 – $22 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team at a busy animal clinic in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will have excellent animal handling skills and a passion for providing high-quality care to animals.

Duties and responsibilities:
– Assisting veterinarians with surgeries, appointments, and procedures
– Handling and restraining animals during examinations
– Administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
– Providing general care to animals, including feeding, grooming, and cleaning
– Assisting with laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
– Maintaining clean and organized work areas

Qualifications:
– Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
– Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) or equivalent certification preferred
