Salary: $26.00 to $27.00 per hour

Job Description:

Our client, a long-term care facility in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is currently seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents, administering medications, coordinating and providing nursing care, and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
– Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
– Monitor residents’ health condition and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals
– Provide wound care and other nursing treatments as required
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Requirements:
– Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) certification
– Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
– CPR and First Aid certification
– Experience working in a long-term care setting is an asset
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
