Job Description

Job Title: Packaging Supervisor

Location: Calgary, AB

Salary: $62,000 – $68,000

A dynamic and fast-growing food production company is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing packaging operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading a team of packaging associates. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience in a food production or packaging environment, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving performance and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

– Supervise and coordinate packaging operations to ensure efficient and productive processes
– Lead and manage a team of packaging associates, providing training, support, and guidance as needed
– Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
– Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions
– Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of finished products
– Participate in the development and implementation of packaging-related initiatives and process improvements

Qualifications:

– Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a food production or packaging environment
– Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
– Demonstrated ability to drive performance and quality improvements
