Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Location: Brockton, MA

Job Description:
The Good Samaritan Medical Center is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in critical and emergent situations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Assessing, prioritizing, and managing patient care in the Emergency Department
– Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
– Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
– Monitoring and evaluating patient responses to treatment and modifying care plans as needed
– Providing education and support to patients and their families
– Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records

Qualifications:
– Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
– BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
– Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
– Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
