The Senior Finance Manager for Canada Enterprise Customer Segments works closely with Canada Enterprise leaders and is supported by a Finance Manager and a university graduate in the same role.

Our client, a reputable private school in Richmond, British Columbia, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Grade 6 Homeroom Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for students, delivering engaging and dynamic lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and meet the needs of Grade 6 students
– Differentiate instruction to support the diverse learning needs of students
– Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students in learning
– Assess student learning through quizzes, tests, projects, and other forms of evaluation
– Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic progress
– Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior
– Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide events and initiatives
– Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
– BC Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain)
– Experience teaching Grade 6 students preferred
– Strong classroom management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents
– Passion for teaching and commitment to student success
