Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting our healthcare professionals with various tasks and providing support to ensure efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

– Greet and escort patients to exam rooms
– Record patient medical history and vital signs
– Assist healthcare providers with exams and procedures
– Prepare and administer medications as directed
– Collect and process laboratory specimens
– Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information
– Coordinate scheduling and follow-up appointments
– Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatment plans
– Ensure cleanliness and organization in exam rooms and medical office
– Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines

Qualifications:

– Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
– Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
– Proficiency in EMR software and basic computer skills
– CPR certification is preferred
