Position: Medical Laboratory Technician

Location: Alberta, Canada

Our client, a leading healthcare facility in Alberta, is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conducting laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and other body fluids
– Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
– Analyzing test results and accurately recording and reporting findings
– Assisting with quality control and assurance procedures
– Maintaining proper inventory of laboratory supplies

Qualifications:
– Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technician program
– Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS)
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing laboratory tests
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
