Job Description:
Our client, a reputable IT Solutions company, is looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst to join their team in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support to end-users on a variety of technical issues and will be the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
– Respond to and resolve incoming technical support requests via phone, email, or in person
– Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
– Create and maintain user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
– Help with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications
– Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate level of support
– Keep accurate records of all support incidents and resolutions
– Provide technical training and guidance to end-users as needed
Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience in a technical support role
– Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– IT certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.) are an asset
