The company is seeking a Veterinary Communication Manager for a 15-month contract position at the Canadian Veterinary Resource Centre. The position is remote and located in Canada. The individual will be responsible for marketing and managing the resource center’s communications with Canadian veterinarians.

Job Description:

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to join their team in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the facility, including production, quality control, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring production targets are met and quality standards are maintained
– Develop and implement operational procedures and systems to improve efficiency and productivity
– Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of operations
– Manage and oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished goods
– Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and cost savings
– Develop and mentor a high-performing team, providing leadership, guidance, and support

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing operations management role
– Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
– Proven track record of driving operational performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards
– Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
