Job Description

Title: Social Worker

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Type: Full-time

Our community mental health organization is seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing mental health support services to individuals and families in need.

Responsibilities:
– Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
– Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop treatment plans
– Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists and psychiatrists, to provide integrated care
– Advocate for clients and help them access community resources
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
– Participate in team meetings and case conferences
– Stay current on best practices and ethical standards in social work

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work
– Registered Social Worker (RSW) designation in good standing
– Previous experience in a mental health or community health setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of community resources and services
