The role is located in the Provincial Zone at the Bethune Building of the QEII hospital. The Sourcing Manager in the Procurement department is responsible for leading procurement activities and reports to the Director of Procurement. The area is experiencing an influx of individuals relocating from around the world.

Position Overview:
As a Merchandise and Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the store team with processing and organizing merchandise shipments, managing inventory levels, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will work closely with the management team to ensure efficient operations and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
– Receive and unload merchandise shipments.
– Organize and distribute merchandise to designated areas within the store.
– Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory counts.
– Monitor and replenish stock levels as needed.
– Ensure the store is clean and organized, following company standards.
– Assist customers with product inquiries and provide product recommendations.
– Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
– Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Previous experience in a retail environment is an asset.
– Strong organizational and communication skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
– Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
– Physical ability to lift and move heavy merchandise.
– Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
