Job Description

Job Introduction
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for receiving patients, determining their needs, verifying their information, and direct them to the appropriate person or department. This individual must have excellent communication skills, be detail oriented, and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Greet and check-in patients, verify insurance information, and update records as needed
– Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with any inquiries or concerns
– Assist with maintaining a clean and organized reception area
– Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and satisfaction
– Process and file paperwork according to office procedures
– Uphold compliance with all privacy and confidentiality regulations

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in a medical receptionist role is preferred
– Strong computer skills and knowledge of medical software systems
– Excellent customer service and communication skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
