The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for sourcing contacts through prospecting, marketing referrals, and digital lead generation efforts. They work closely with the CEO, Marketing Manager, and other company resources to qualify leads and identify key decision makers.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our team in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our network infrastructure and information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design and implement secure network solutions to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information systems
– Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
– Monitor network traffic for potential security breaches and respond to security incidents
– Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests
– Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement security best practices and standards
– Keep up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends
– Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
– Provide technical support and expertise to troubleshoot security-related issues

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in network security engineering
– Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and security vulnerabilities
– Hands-on experience with firewall and intrusion detection systems
– Strong knowledge of encryption technologies and secure network design principles
– Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security) is a plus
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Canadian citizenship or permanent residency is required
