Business staff with “train the trainer” roles should support the lead project manager in implementing and reinforcing changes related to significant project initiatives. The staff will be responsible for transitioning business users to new systems.
Title: Social Media Specialist

Location: Ottawa, ON

Salary: CAD 35.00-45.00 per hour

Job Description:

Our company is looking for a talented Social Media Specialist to oversee our social media accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing engaging content across various social media platforms, monitoring and analyzing key metrics, and helping to develop social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of social media trends, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

– Create high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
– Monitor and analyze key social media metrics to optimize performance and drive engagement
– Develop social media strategies to increase brand awareness and grow followers
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing objectives
– Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices
– Develop and maintain relationships with influencers and industry partners

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
– 2+ years of experience in social media management
– Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Proficiency in social media analytics tools
– Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.
