Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory management, staff supervision, and customer relations.
Key responsibilities:
– Assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store
– Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all customers have a positive shopping experience
– Managing and motivating a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
– Overseeing inventory management, including receiving, ordering, and stock control
– Monitoring and analyzing sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement
– Ensuring store appearance and merchandising standards are maintained to the highest level
– Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and efficient manner
– Assisting with recruitment, training, and performance management of store staff
– Adhering to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
– Contributing to the overall success of the store and working collaboratively with the Store Manager and other team members
Qualifications:
– 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar industry
– Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
– Strong leadership and team management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
– Solid understanding of inventory management and merchandising principles
– Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
– Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
