Job Description:

We are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Childcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and providing them with a safe and nurturing environment. The Childcare Assistant will assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily activities, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and ensuring the well-being of all children in our care.

Responsibilities:
– Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children
– Help to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
– Interact with children in a positive and supportive manner
– Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program
– Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members

Qualifications:
– Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent required
– Previous experience working with young children preferred
– First Aid and CPR certification is an asset
– Ability to pass a criminal background check
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
