Job Description:

Scott Rd Medical Clinic is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team in Abbotsford, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing the front desk, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

– Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
– Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate personnel
– Schedule patient appointments and handle appointment cancellations or changes
– Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
– Maintain patient records and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
– Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred
– Strong organizational and multitasking skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
