The Senior Environmental Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing environmental due diligence and remediation projects in Waterloo and Hamilton, ON. They will provide leadership to project teams and report to the Operations Manager.
Position: Civil Estimator

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Description:

Our client, a reputable construction company in Toronto, is seeking a Civil Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing accurate estimates for civil construction projects, including roads, bridges, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
– Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
– Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil construction projects
– Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary information for bids
– Participate in bid review meetings and negotiations with clients
– Develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners
– Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
– Minimum 5 years of experience in civil estimating for construction projects
– Proficient in estimating software (such as HardDollar, HCSS, or similar)
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
