Our client, a leading company in the Toronto area, is seeking an Office Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Responsibilities:
– Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
– Answer and direct phone calls
– Manage incoming and outgoing mail
– Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
– Assist with organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments
– Perform data entry and documentation tasks
– Handle confidential information in a secure manner
– Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in an office setting is preferred
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
