Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and overseeing patient care within our research facility. The Clinical Research Nurse will collaborate with healthcare professionals, manage trials, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct patient assessments and provide nursing care within the research facility
– Administer medications and treatment as prescribed by research protocols
– Monitor patient responses and document observations accurately
– Communicate with study coordinators and principal investigators to ensure smooth operation of research trials
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of research protocols and regulatory requirements
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
– Participate in the development and execution of research studies
– Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of patient care and research protocol

Qualifications:
– Registered Nurse licensure in Ontario
– Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
– Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
– Prior experience in clinical research preferred
– Strong organizational and communication skills
– Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of research ethics and regulatory requirements
– CPR certification
