A client is looking for an experienced Project Manager for their Surveying and Geomatics team in Vancouver. The Project Manager will be the main contact for projects, interacting with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and support staff.
The job description is for a Data Scientist position, and includes responsibilities such as analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, designing and developing data models, algorithms, and simulations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions, and researching and implementing data analytics solutions. The candidate should have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, statistical modeling, and programming languages such as Python or R. They should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and have experience working with a variety of data sources and tools. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required for this position.
