Job Description

Senior Scrum Master

Location: Toronto

Job Type: Temporary

Our client is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join their team in Toronto on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team through the Agile process, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.

Key Responsibilities:
– Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives
– Guide and coach the team on Agile principles and practices
– Identify and address any blockers or impediments to the team’s progress
– Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and deliver on sprint goals
– Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team

Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
– Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
– Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is preferred
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
