Sr. Data Scientist

Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: Dependent on experience

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a proven track record of utilizing data-driven insights to impact business decisions.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement advanced analytical models to support decision-making processes
– Interpret and analyze complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
– Support iterative modeling processes, including data preparation, model building, and model evaluation
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in data science and analytics

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred
– 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
– Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools (Python, R, SQL, etc.)
– Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting complex data to non-technical stakeholders
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
