The Provincial Access Manager for Cardiac Services BC oversees programs and services across health authorities in British Columbia. They report to the Provincial Clinical Director and ensure that access to cardiac services is coordinated and efficient.
Event Coordinator

We are looking for a dynamic and organized Event Coordinator to join our team. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, including conferences, seminars, and promotional events. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, and logistical coordination
– Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, vendors, and attendees
– Create and manage event budgets, ensuring events are executed within budget
– Coordinate event marketing and promotional activities, including social media campaigns and email marketing
– Manage event registration and attendee communications
– Assist with post-event evaluation and analysis to measure the success of events

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in event planning and coordination
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
