Champion Petfoods is expanding! We are a family-owned and operated award-winning pet food manufacturer. Our award-winning brands, ORIJEN and ACANA, are sold in more than 70 countries and our mission is to be trusted by pet lovers worldwide.

As a Conditioner Operator, you will be responsible for the mixing, drying, and conditioning of product. The primary function includes conditioning, mixing, and transferring product to the drier.

Key Responsibilities:
– Operate and monitor the conditioning, mixing, and transfer of product to drier
– Operate all system checkpoints on the grinding, conditioning, and drier systems
– Gather samples from the system and prepare them for outside analysis
– Operate the drier system as required
– Operate and maintain sanitation of the drier system to meet company standards
– Involvement with handling spoilage and rework product
– Provide assistance in plant cleaning and sanitation as required
– Other duties as assigned
– Oversee all responsibilities in accordance with the Quality Management System, safety standards, and food safety requirements

Qualifications:
– High School diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
– Keen attention to detail
– Good communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work in a team environment
– Basic computer skills
– Must be capable of obtaining forklift license through company training
