Job Description:

We are looking for a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our team at ConnectRN. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with the established nursing care plan and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
– Monitor and assess patient condition and report any changes to the registered nurse
– Assist with patient assessments and admissions
– Provide basic nursing care, such as wound care, IV administration, and catheter care
– Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
– Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record
– Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and proficiency in nursing skills

Qualifications:
– Current LPN license in the state of Washington, DC
– CPR certification
– Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting
– Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
