Title: Network Technician

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 a year

Job Description:
Our company is seeking a Network Technician to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. The Network Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems, including switches, routers, and firewalls. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
– Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
– Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
– Provide technical support to clients for network-related problems
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the network
– Keep detailed records of network configurations and changes
– Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and best practices

Requirements:
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or a related field
– Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
– Experience with network hardware, such as Cisco switches and routers
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+, are a plus
