Job Description

Alaska Oil and Gas Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Oil and Gas Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in petroleum engineering, geology, or related fields, with a proven track record of analyzing and evaluating oil and gas reserves.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct technical evaluations of oil and gas fields to determine potential reserves
– Analyze data to identify opportunities for production optimization and cost reduction
– Develop and maintain reservoir models to forecast production and estimate recoverable reserves
– Assist in the planning and execution of drilling and completion activities
– Monitor and report on the performance of existing oil and gas assets
– Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure optimal performance

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, geology, or related field
– 5+ years of experience in oil and gas analysis
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Proficiency in reservoir modeling software (e.g., PETREL, Eclipse)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
