The department of People & Culture is seeking a candidate to join their team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in North Vancouver. The position reports to the Manager of Talent Acquisition and requires candidates to be eligible to work in Canada.
Position: Event Manager

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 a year

We are looking for an experienced Event Manager to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating memorable events and will be able to manage all aspects of event planning and execution.

Responsibilities:
– Plan, organize, and execute events from start to finish
– Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and other stakeholders
– Manage event budgets and ensure financial targets are met
– Develop event concepts and themes
– Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual requirements
– Coordinate event promotion and marketing efforts
– Ensure all event activities run smoothly and efficiently
– Provide on-site event management and troubleshooting

Qualifications:
– 3+ years of experience in event planning and management
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
– Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field
