Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care

Our client, a well-established long-term care facility, is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care within a skilled nursing facility. This role involves assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
– Administering medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by a physician
– Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and symptoms
– Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
– Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
– Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families

Qualifications:
– Current LPN license in the state of practice
– Previous experience working in a long-term care facility is preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment
– Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients
