Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Location: San Diego, CA

Shift: 7:00pm – 7:30am

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Job Description:

– Provide direct and indirect patient care in a medical-surgical setting
– Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide quality care to patients
– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
– Monitor and document patient’s condition and progress
– Educate patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment, and care plan
– Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures
– Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications:

– Valid RN license in the state of California
– BLS certification
– ACLS certification preferred
– Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
– Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment
