The Manager, Data Management & Reporting is responsible for preparing and maintaining data, conducting integrity testing, data analytics, and managing data governance. They also provide support for special projects and respond to ad-hoc inquiries and requests.

Our client is a leading construction company and they are currently seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join their team in Vancouver, BC. The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and manage safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations
– Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
– Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
– Provide safety training and education to employees at all levels
– Review and update company safety manuals and procedures as needed
– Act as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and issues
– Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety protocols are being followed
– Stay current on industry trends and best practices in safety management

Qualifications:
– Degree or diploma in occupational health and safety or a related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in the construction industry
– Strong knowledge of local, provincial, and federal safety regulations and standards
– Professional certifications such as CRSP or CSP are considered an asset
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
