The Project Engineer Intern reports to the Senior Manager, Project Engineering and is responsible for supporting a multi-disciplinary engineering team to ensure successful project delivery. Senior Project Manager
Location: Toronto, ON
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
– Develop project plans and schedules, and ensure they are followed
– Coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams
– Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
– Monitor and assess project progress and make adjustments as necessary
– Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
– Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients
– Participate in the selection and hiring of contractors and subcontractors
– Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety and building codes
– Mentor and support junior members of the project management team
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
– PMP or similar project management certification is preferred
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Knowledge of relevant construction laws and regulations
– Familiarity with project management software and tools
– Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
